Builder and problem-solver across media and AI with 25+ years of teaching myself whatever the production requires—from editing systems to Chrome extensions to evaluation architectures—and shipping work that holds up. MFA in Fiction from Columbia. Credits across PBS, HBO, Warner Bros. Discovery, NBC-Universal. Currently building AI evaluation systems and production-ready tools at Amazon.
Core Pattern
Taught myself AVID by staying overnight in the office until I could cut broadcast-quality work. Wrote 40+ TV scripts by learning to extract narrative from police reports, court documents, and historical archives. Built a citation verification system in collaboration with Amazon’s Language Engineering team. Self-taught coding and shipped Chrome extensions, progressive web apps, and a full evaluation platform while working full-time. Each role required capabilities I didn’t have yet. I built them.
